Participate in the First Friday Art Walk!
Our monthly art walks take place on the first Friday of every month from 5-9PM. To participate, please follow the instructions below. (Note: Only businesses are required to submit a participation form.)
ARTISTS:
Use our Business Directory to contact a business where you are interested in setting up or performing for the evening. If the business is interested in hosting you, they will then fill out the business participation form on this page.
Businesses may also contact you through our Artist Directory so make sure you are a registered member
Advertise your participation—use our social media hashtag #thecreekdistrict and tag our account @thecreekdistrict (so we can help promote you!)
Remain at the hosting business during the entire event time (5-9PM)
BUSINESSES:
To participate, you must first be registered as a Creek District member and listed in our Business Directory
Find an artist/entertainer each month using our Artist Directory (or elsewhere)
Register at least 2 weeks prior to each event in order to be added to our Art Walk map/list (Businesses registering after the deadline may still participate, but wont be listed that month and wont be shared/promoted on social media.)
Advertise your participation—use our social media hashtag #thecreekdistrict and tag our account @thecreekdistrict (so we can help promote you!)
Remain open during the entire event time (5-9PM)
Provide refreshments (optional, but highly recommended)
Cancellation/Rain Policy
In the event that you need to cancel your participation:
Contact us at info@thecreekdistrict.org or on Instagram messaging, so we are made aware—we can possibly offer your artists another host business
Post on social media that you’ve cancelled and tag us @thecreekdistrict so we can share
In the event of rain:
If it’s raining just before the event, consider waiting a little bit to set up—it’s Florida and showers often pass quickly (update your followers on social media and tag us @thecreekdistrict so we are aware and can share)
If possible, have an indoor backup plan for setting up
If you feel you need to cancel or close early due to the rain, please follow the above cancellation protocol
In the event that your artist/vendor can’t make it, contact us at info@thecreekdistrict.org or on Instagram messaging so we are made aware—we can possibly find you a new artist, if you’re interested
